Can Miami Land Two of These Four Players?

20 Apr

Mark Ingram
Mikel LeShoure
Ryan Mallett
Colin Kaepernick

It will take a trade down to add a second, or trading next year’s first. Projections are all over the place for Mallett, and Don Banks’ latest mock has LeShoure lasting ’til the late second. Kaepernick has been rising, but is still a second rounder by most estimates. Ingram’s knee has some people wary.

If we can somehow turn pick 15 into our quarterback and running back of the future, that would be a pretty nifty move. And there are usually some nice guards on the board in the third, where we can help the o-line. Maybe DJ Williams, Virgil Green or a speed WR is floating around in the fourth?

Just spitballing here. What do you think?

Drop Ingram’s name from the list and I’m with you.

I don’t know. I can’t drop Ingram too far. Slow 40 time, but he was the fastest RB in the first 10 yards. 90% of runs will fall within that 1-10 yard window. Compact, powerful. I won’t shed a tear if we grab him. Just my two cents.
