Mallett, Dalton, Kaepernick Auction Begins Tonight

28 Apr

Why does it feel like the Patriots are about to add even more picks?

There the Patsies are, perched atop round two, letting the offers roll in. Four quarterbacks are off the board, which by our count leaves about nine teams still hungry for a signal caller. Further adding to the frenzy? The Bills, Bengals, Browns and Cardinals will all be picking at the top of the round, just after the Patsies. You’d better leapfrog them if you want to get in on the action. Perhaps the Broncos, crammed in the middle of that bunch, may be interested in dealing down?

We don’t know if the Bifecta is still looking for an arm, or if we even have the ammo to move up into the top of the second, but it seems like the position could be all but gutted about thirty minutes into tomorrow’s festivities.

With them taking Pouncey because hey was the “safe pick” tells me they are still conservative even without Parcells. I highly doubt they will trade up into the 2nd for a QB and if they do trade up into the 2nd it probably be for a RB and not a QB. I also think they will be after a vet QB to compete with Henne. After all that would be the conservative approach. Which also means they probably will not part ways with a high draft pick to trade for a vet, which will likely mean you can rule out Young and Kolb and possibly Palmer.

im about ready to change teams or quit watching nfl all together. miami needed a RB the most, then a QB, and maybe another big WR. Im tired of the same bull every year. im not a big ingram fan so im glad they passed on him. I like Leshoure and Thomas alot better. They should have went ahead and grabbed Mallot or Daulton. then traded up for a 2nd round pick and picked up Leshoure. they never pick what they need most. DRIVES ME CRAZY. mind as well get ready for another 7 win season maybe worse!!!! they could atleast try to go after kolb or young, but of course they wont. there are a bunch of idiots running miami in the ground
