Five Nifty Talking Points About Carson Palmer to Miami

9 May

1. He’s averaged 25 touchdowns a season, despite the “health risk” label.

2. He threw for more yards last season than Aaron Rodgers, despite the “health risk” label.

3. He threw for more touchdowns than Matt Schaub last season, despite the “health risk” label.

4. He’s never thrown for more interceptions than touchdowns in a full season, despite the “health risk” label.

5. He would gladly restructure his contract if it meant his freedom from Hamilton County, Ohio.

How much would you give up to get him, Dolfans? Or why wouldn’t you?

    Makes sense, but for what?

      Here’s a little experiment.

      Matt Roth
      Samson Satele
      Pat White
      Carson Palmer
      Sean Smith
      Phil Merling
      Eddie Moore
      Chris Chambers
      John Beck
      Koa Misi
      Chad Henne

I don’t know about you, but Carson’s name leaps out at me in a big way. Those were our second rounders over the entire last decade. For a guy with his resume/stats, the same age as Romo, younger than Brees and Brady? As close as this team is, I think a second rounder makes perfect sense.
