The Fibbing Fin: Sparano Chases Gruden from Building

9 May

– DAVIE, FL

Awkward moments at team headquarters Sunday morning, when Head Coach Tony Sparano walked in to find Super Bowl coach turned analyst Jon Gruden measuring his office.

Gruden offered no explanation, slowly tiptoeing away, then sprinting through the front doors and into a silver Bentley registered to Owner Stephen Ross.

Sparano briefly gave chase as the car peeled away, but opted to head back inside due to the massive flock of vultures circling overhead.

Eyewitnesses say Sparano was also followed inside by a shadowy figure wearing a dark robe and carrying a scythe.

LMAO. Coach Tony will be here for a long time. The fans and players love him. I’ve always believed it takes 4-5 years to implement the plan. The cupboard was bear (no talent) when he arrived and now it is almost full. With the help at the line (Pouncey/Incognito) and New RB and WR/KR we will improve and over take the J-E-T-S Suck Suck Suck. Phins Phour Life

I don’t think the fans, by and large, share your love for Coach Sparano. I don’t think there’s a safer playcaller in the league. And if that final Pats game wasn’t in Foxboro he would have been booed out of the building.

And I will not deny, the cupboard is more full than it was. Unfortunately one of the remaining holes is the hardest to fill, and impacts wins and losses more than any other.

Unless Henne’s been holding out on us?

Thanks for your comment, and for stopping by The Bottlenose!
